Disco Bathroom

concept

Where restraint meets a touch of the unexpected. The Disco Bathroom is defined by a refined interplay of contrast, texture and light. Pairing a timeless palette of cream, black and grey with tactile surfaces and carefully selected statement pieces. Subtle reflections and vintage details add personality, creating a space that feels sophisticated, layered and distinctly its own.

MATERIALITY & COLOUR

A restrained palette of cream, black and grey creates the sophisticated foundation of the room. Textured ÉLITIS wallpaper wraps the walls in a delicate pearl-like finish, while the grey ceiling deliberately echoes the flooring below — framing the space and giving it an intimate, almost cocooning quality.

LIGHT & ATMOSPHERE

Lighting became an essential part of the design language, with multiple sources creating different layers of mood throughout the room. Suspended above the freestanding bathtub, a vintage glass-crystal pendant casts fragmented reflections across the walls. A subtle nod to the shimmer of a disco ball and the detail that ultimately gave the project its name.

BESPOKE DETAILS

Clean architectural lines bring a contemporary counterpoint to the more expressive elements of the room. A bespoke vanity was designed specifically for the space, combining crisp white surfaces, deep black cabinetry and polished chrome details. Together with the freestanding bathtub and carefully considered fittings, it creates a sense of quiet precision within the more playful setting.
