the story

We knew instantly: this apartment had everything.

The bones were exquisite. Sun-drenched rooms, soaring ceilings, ornate stucco, timeworn wooden floors, and elegant French doors. It radiated Berlin’s timeless charm, but it was waiting for a new story.

We saw the potential to create something bold yet refined. Rooted in heritage, but unafraid of color and contrast. We envisioned a space where vintage treasures meet modern clarity, where every room connects through palette, form, and feeling.

The kitchen became a monochromatic world of deep purple, painted from walls to kitchen cabinets. It’s immersive, dramatic, and grounding. Red chairs punch through the stillness, while black-and-white VIA tiles lend structure and a nod to classic Berlin pattern.

The dining area is drenched in lilac mauve, anchored by a vibrant pink Moroccan rug, while an antique dining table grounds the space in memory.

The brass wall lamp in the shape of a ginkgo leaf sets a highlight.

Layered tone-on-tone in emerald green and ink blue, the living room speaks with quiet confidence and understated depth.

Every detail. In every corner. Considered, intentional, and quietly making a statement.

A reimagined layout set the stage for the apartment's transformation: a new, semi-mechanical opening between the living and dining rooms, framed by a custom French door, mirrors the original between the bedroom and dining space. This new axis allows the color story to unfold with clarity and rhythm.

A fearless color story unfolds from the Sunbird wallpaper by Matthew Williamson, its rich tones inspiring a layered palette that moves confidently through each room: bold, balanced, and unmistakably Signature.

The bedroom is wrapped in vibrant blue, striking a balance between calm and quiet confidence.

Fashion has not only been an inspiration. It has shaped the aesthetic of the space.

Dark, almost black-painted wooden floors and black doors ground the entire apartment, adding depth and cohesion. These elements form the quiet counterpoint to the boldness of color, creating a sense of structure and refinement throughout.
